Why buyers choose us

Guardians, Not Just Big Dogs

A livestock guardian is only as good as the way it was raised. Here's how ours start.

Raised With Stock

Whelped on the homestead and living among chickens, ducks, and rabbits from the day their eyes open. Livestock is normal to them before they ever meet you.

A Deliberate Cross

75% Kangal for size and nerve, 25% Great Pyrenees for patience and tolerance. Serious enough to do the work, steady enough to live with.

Handled Every Day

Feet, ears, and mouth handled from week one, so your dog is catchable, leadable, and manageable at the vet β€” not a wild thing in a pasture.

Health Checked

Every pup gets a health check, age-appropriate worming, and first shots before it goes home. We tell you exactly what's been done.

We Answer After

The first year is where guardians are made or ruined. Michael takes the call at eight weeks and at eighteen months alike.

Working Mountain Stock

Our adults hold a real perimeter against coyote, bear, and hawk pressure in the Smoky foothills. The pups come from dogs that do the job.

The cross

Two Breeds, One Job

That cross gives you the size, courage, and protective drive of the Kangal with the steady, attentive temperament of the Great Pyrenees. They make great guard dogs and livestock dogs both β€” bonded to their flock, wary of predators, and gentle with the animals and people they protect.

Kangal

The muscle and the nerve.

The Kangal is TΓΌrkiye's national dog and one of the most respected guardian breeds in the world β€” bred for centuries to hold off wolves and bears on open Anatolian range. It is a deterrent first and a fighter last: enormous, fast for its size, and confident enough that most predators leave rather than test it. The fawn coat with a black mask is the classic Kangal signature, and it comes through strongly in our pups.

Great Pyrenees

The patience and the good sense.

The Great Pyrenees has guarded mountain flocks for a thousand years and brings the softer half of the equation: nurturing with young stock, tolerant of handling, and famously trustworthy around children. Pyrenees are attentive nighttime workers who prefer to warn rather than engage. That quarter of Pyr blood is what makes these dogs livable β€” a working guardian your family can also walk up to.

Built for

What They'll Guard for You

Coyote, bear, bobcat, hawk, and the neighbor's loose dogs. A guardian that lives with your stock is out there at three in the morning when you aren't.

Sheep & Goats

The classic job. A bonded pair will hold a perimeter around a grazing flock day and night without being told to.

Poultry Flocks

Ours grow up around chickens, ducks, and quail from the day their eyes open β€” hawks, foxes, and coons are the whole point.

Cattle & Larger Stock

Calving season draws predators. A guardian that lives with the herd is there at 3 a.m. when you aren't.

Homestead & Property

Big, visible, and territorial in the right way. Most trouble turns around at the fence line before anything happens.

Not sure a guardian is right for your place?

Call and describe what you're running β€” how much ground, what stock, what fencing you have, and what's been getting at you. Michael will tell you straight whether one of these dogs is the answer, and how many you'd need.
